Win the new Liberty CD!!!

It's finally here. Our long-awaited album "Old Time Gospel Songs, Vol. 1" has arrived. Doran picked them up at the Greyhound bus station last evening (long story) and we're going to have it on the product table this weekend.

As promised, one of my loyal readers will be receiving a free CD. I had envisioned an elaborate contest, making the winner really sweat to walk away with the prize. However, after discussion with several readers and a little thought (not a whole lot, really) I've decided to keep it simple. Here's how it's going to work: for the next few days, actually a week, I'm going to accept entries for the CD. The cut-off date and time for accepted entries will be Thursday, Sept. 21 at 11:59 PM (MST). Here's what must be included in the entry (an entry can be made only by leaving a comment to this post):

First and last name
The title and date of your favorite post
How you found out about keithinside

That's it. I will then copy and paste all of the names into Word, print them out, and then put them on several slips of paper. I will put all of the slips of paper into a hat, have Trey put on his Lone Ranger mask (which does nothing but add to the drama), and pull out a slip of paper. The person whose name is on the slip of paper will be the winner. To validate our selection, I will have Lori videotape the ceremony and will post it on keithinside. The integrity of this process is vital, I know.

Once a winner has been selected and named, the person can claim the CD by e-mailing their mailing address to waggoner_keith@hotmail.com.

If you have never commented before on this site and aren't quite sure how to go about it, feel free to ask for help at waggoner_keith@hotmail.com.

Enjoy!

I'm fairly new to your site but loved the Alaskan pictures on "The Sights" posted August 3rd.
My friend Ellen told me about your site!

This is a nail-biter. Even if I don't win, go ahead and send me a free one, ok? I don't deal well with losing.

Favorite post: Keith's blue/black/green...swollen foot-2/12/06 (I did not chose this because I enjoy seeing other people in pain, but rather it cracked me up to think you would take a picture of your own ugly foot! You do have to admit, that picture would not have gotten you a job at Dr. Scholl's as a Foot Model!)

How I found out about keithinside: I believe you walked into my office at GCA/GBC and said, "Hey, Sheila, you should read my blog on keithinside...." The rest is history.

If I do not win this, I will be happy to purchase one.

Heard about your blog from Jon Plank.
How do I pick a favorite post? I liked the one when Claude Hopper thought you were Phil Cross.
Oh and a big Hoo-dey and Go Buckeyes!

Wow, I want to vote for the 2-12-06 picture of your foot, but I see that has already been voted for.

Sooo, maybe I will vote for my second favorite of 08-29-05, the picture/post of "First Day, Done". I think that really captures the real you. It was a toss-up between that and the 11-16-05 "From the Archives"-- "A Man and his Couch"

Anyway, I found out about your blog because you e-mailed me with the address.

well, it's kinda a long story. but here it goes; so there i was, sitting in my computer room when i saw a piece of paper with your website written on it. i starred at it a minute or two in disbelief with one eyebrow raised. then i said "hello, what's this?" mind you i said this with a british accent. then i got on the internet and went to the website and have been making sarcastic comments since. the end.

Hey Keith,
I have the perfect way to get the CD. First of all, my favorite post was also the one of the foot. Not the one that you showed, but the one you haven't mentioned yet about your grandma driving over it when you were younger. Second, I didn't want to pull the family card, but after the ping pong table in your back yard fell on my finger, I think you owe me one. Third, with my wife, Beth, being related to Doran, I could threaten to "incapacitate" Doran with the dreaded "wet willy" if you don't meet my demands. I'll be waiting for your announcement that I'm the winner.

Your cousin "ahem",
Jeremy

Paul Fry told me about it.
My fav. post (I don't remember the name of it) is the one where you described the smell that comes from the quartet van when you hit the seat.
(Remember that Mexican restaurant in Ft. Wayne?)

Well since I see all sorts of family trying to be the lucky winner I might as well try. People from all over have been calling and e-mailing, telling me they love their CD and asking me how I like it. I tell them I don't have one because I'm just the booking agent. Now there is a reason to PICK ME! Shanna
