I have to mention the accomplishment of another Grace Teen member. Ashley Taylor played at a recital Friday night and did an outstanding job (according to Lori). She played "Long, Long Ago" as a solo piece and then she played "Skyboat"with the group.

This is awesome! Ashley, I wish I could have been there. I would like to say that I made even a minor contribution to your musical prowess, but I know I can't. My feeble attempts at playing the violin in my college Instrumental Methods class were met with groans and criticism from my teacher and fellow students. So, I just have to settle for having a great musician in my youth group. (and a good softball player; that's for Kayla)
