The over-rated Omar Jacobs, pre-season Heisman trophy candidate, got rushed and pressured all night. He made 4 really good throws all night. He definitely didn't live up to his billing. Every time he touched the ball, the crowd derisively chanted OOOO-MAR, OOOOO-MAR! It was a lot of fun. Bowling Green didn't score a touchdown until the 4th quarter, with all of the freshmen and subs in. I screamed at Omar when they scored in our end zone, "How does it feel to score against the scrubs?" My witty verbal jab (I guess) was met with boisterous laughter from the fans in our end zone. I felt pretty good about it. It doesn't take much, I know.
