The Champ
I'm shocked! America got it right. David Cook won American Idol. I know that my support for this year's champ makes me unpopular with women and humans under 16, but Cook's musical creativity coupled with his dynamic voice made me take notice early on in the competition. The guy can flat out rock. I'm looking forward to his first CD.

Well Keith, I think America got it all wrong, but who am I. I really don't think he can hold up to what people think he can do. Oh well another season has come and gone. Good luck to both. They both are going to sing on the Today show next week,I think.Thanks for all the updates and your take on the competition throughout the season.
Hi.........you may remember our trip down the aisle together at Janelle Cooper's wedding. :) I check your blog from time to time and just had to comment on this post. I am a woman and I do not think America got it wrong. I am very happy with the winner!:)

Well, SOME of us were rooting for DC...because I certainly was! I have to say, I was very pleased that America got it right this time -- & that Simon had to apologize (that being said, I agree w/ Simon about 90% of the time, just not this time!) :-)
